DO NOT REMOVE MINE PLEASE

This is the color palette I am using. You are welcomed to use it too for the purpose of this tutorial :) Remember to use different colors for anything you plan to sell, give away or otherwise share..
pc -
First open the line art :)

Increase colors, and remove the background as you usually would ;)
Make your foreground color #1 from the palette above or a dark greyish shade
of your favorite color ;) Make your background color black. Now use the replacer
tool
with the following
settings

to recolor the outline :) Just click inside your canvas and it should all go grey like below

Now use color #3 to fill in your computer. Choose any color you like to fill in your mouse pad :)

With color #2 add shading similar to below to the PC parts :) Just use a shade darker of your mouse pad color to shade it.

Now use color #4 to add highlights to your PC :)

Now use your wand
to select
inside the monitor :) ( You may need to make your settings SAMPLE MERGED for
your wand tool if you are working in layers )

Choose what picture you are going to put inside your monitor. It can be any size though something a more wide than tall would probably look best. I am using a part of a drawing I mussed up ;) Press CTRL+C to copy it onto your clipboard

Go back to your computer image and press SHIFT+CTRL+L to paste Your image shouldve automatically resized itself to fit inside your monitor :)

Now add a new layer. ( THIS IS IMPORTANT ) Use black to draw an outline inside your monitor. ( DO NOT DESELECT )

Go into Layer Properties ( LAYERS >> PROPERTIES ) and change to the following settings..

It should look like this :

Now add a new layer ( remember DO NOT deselect ) Use white to draw a highlight similar to below.

Now go into EFFECTS >> BLUR >> Guassian blur set the radius to 1.99 ( you can modify this to your liking )

Now go to LAYERS >> DUPLICATE LAYER. Then into IMAGE >> MIRROR then again IMAGE >> this time FLIP

Use your mover tool
to
move the second highlight into the bottom right hand corner

You can leave it like that or lower the opacity of the bottom highlight as I have.

There you go :)
Hope you had fun :) See you next time ;)
