Creating Readable Backgrounds

Readable backgrounds are such an absolute necessity when making stationeries, or background tiles for your webpages where text content will need to be read.
Readable backgrounds are soooo easy to make, it is a shame that more people do not use them!
Create a new image, 100 x 100 ( for the purpose of this tutorial, but any size you want will do )..
Floodfill your image white ( again , for the purpose of this tutorial, but any low saturation color that matches your webset or stationery etc... will do ) Now add a new layer...
Draw your pattern onto this layer...
Now lower the opacity of that layer to around 19%
Now you have a much easier to read background :)
