Alright we've got most of the basic outline of a very standard base..
This is a good time to look at what you've come up with so far... You will probably see a few things you would like to change. This is the time to do it. I decided I would like my bases waist to be a little longer, so I'm going to use my freehand lasso tool to select her arms and across the top of her hips and move it upward a little bit.

Now to go in and bring the parts I divided together with some pixels..

See that mess of pixels? That's me reshaping things. Obviously if her waist was elongated, smaller hips wouldn't just jut out, so I had to reshape them as well as her waist...

Now add her pelvic area right in the center of the widest part of her hips.
And a little above that, her belly button
Now to the inside of her legs. This isnt usually too difficult an area to create. I start with a line down the center from her pelvic area to her feet area. OR in the case of wider hips, I will put two lines seperated by a pixel, from her pelvic area to her feet area.
You can curve these some in the calf area if you like. It's 2:30 am and I have been at this since 10:00 pm so I'm going to say I'm quite satisfied with the straight inner legs lol.. Sowwy. Anyhoozit.. it's time to get to those feet. There are a gazillion ways to draw feet, I'm going to show you the way I've done it most often, more recently..
As it turns out, this doll base may actually be heading a little closer to that 7.5 head height. I've run out of room toward the bottom of my canvas, to fit my feet. Soooooooo, Im going to scooch the rest of the base up a little ways and then draw my feet in.

Duplicate and mirror that foot ^_~
welp, looks like one of my legs is thicker than the other! What to do! What to do!? Well lets just scoot that part of her pelvic area and the inner thigh of the fat leg over a bit to make it the same size as the thinner one. Mend any broken lines and erase any extra pixels.

And here we have the basic outline of a very standard base....
I think it's time to start working on that face...
