A Tulip
DO NOT REMOVE MINE PLEASE
This is the color palette I am using. You are welcomed to use it too for the purpose of this tutorial :) Remember to use different colors for anything you plan to sell, give away or otherwise share..
tulip - 
leaves - 
First draw your tulip and leaves with color #1 of their proper palette :)
Fill in your petals with color #2
Paintbrush tool size 1, use color #3 to draw lines similar to below
Now fill the area toward the outside of the petal with that same color.
Paintbrush tool size 1, use color #4 to draw a line similar to below
Now fill the area to the left of that line with that same color.
Paintbrush tool size 1, use color #5 to draw along the edges until it looks right to you....
Now repeat the same process with the leaves.
Add as much highlight or dark as you like :)
